The AGM will take place next Wednesday the 2nd December 2020 on the veranda/lounge at 10.30 am. If you are unable to attend, please convey your apologies to reception.

The Caister Morning Market (for arts, crafts and useful things) will be held on Saturday the 28th November 2020 in the Lounge, TV Lounge, Library/Card Room and Terrace from 9.00 am till 11.00 am. Heather Dix will be playing the piano during this time.

The Residents Christmas Lunch will be held on Wednesday the 9th December 2020. Residents who have yet to book their tables are to please advise David Mason of the names of the persons at their table.

A Braai Day will be held on the veranda on Wednesday the 16th December 2020 at 12 noon. All residents are welcome to attend and enjoy a relaxing meal outside of the dining room for a change.

Many residents voluntarily contribute R20.00 or more with their monthly levies for staff gratuities which are distributed to all staff members annually at Christmas time. I would like to suggest that the recommended amount be increased to R30.00. Please advise the accounts department if you intend making any changes to your contribution.

Caister Quiz 3, organised by John Hudson will be held in the lounge on Tuesday evening the 15th December 2020 at 6.00 pm. Please see the notice board for more details.

Residents who are to be hospitalized are requested to please advise the clinic of the hospital they will be admitted to so as to enable the clinic staff to monitor their progress.

Residents need to respect the confidentiality of patients medical conditions as this is private and confidential and the clinic staff are not allowed to divulge any information in that respect. If you would like to find out the condition of a patient, please contact them directly.

Please do not to feed the Egyptian Geese as they are not only destructive and make a mess everywhere, they also keep residents up at night.

Residents who will be away over the Festive Season are to please advise the reception of the dates of their travels.

With all the social gatherings taking place over the next month, residents are reminded to please keep your Social Distance and wear your masks when outside of your apartment.
