On Saturday the 6th May 2023, the viewing of the Coronation of King Charles 111 will be screened in the bar for the residents convenience. Residents who intend attending this event in the bar are asked to please place their names on the list on the notice board so as the catering staff cater accordingly.

Herewith the following merchants who will marketing their goods on the Caister veranda at 9.30 am on Wednesday the 3rd of May:- PERFUMES - Theresa Donnelly will be bringing a wide selection of fragrances NIGHTIES & KAFTANS - Wendy Buchanan is bringing a selection of hand-made items

Residents are once again urged to be mindful of the peak hours in respect of electricity consumption as well as during load shedding as the high cost of diesel is placing a strain on these overhead costs.

Thank you to all residents for your patience regarding the delay in Covid booster vaccinations. There has been no available stock from the suppliers and residents will be informed as soon as we are able to get stock.

Fortunately, Flu vaccines are available and these will be available to the residents as was done last year. The roll out of the flu vaccines will be done during the week of 8 th May and 12th May and the notification will be displayed on the notice board on Thursday the 4th May.

Residents are reminded that the Caister Care Centre does not hire out walkers and wheelchairs on a long term basis. Residents who are still in possession of the Care Centre’s equipment are invited to discuss the ongoing use thereof with Sister Karen. Equipment belonging to the Caister Centre that is not returned will be charged for.

Residents who smoke are reminded that smoking in the common areas of Caister is not allowed and you may either smoke in your apartment or in the designated smoking area outside the clinic.

Cooking in apartments is prohibited as this is a fire risk and residents are advised to please refrain from this practice.

The rainy season is now behind us and we have entered the dry season and residents are urged to please continue to use water sparingly and preserve this important resource to contain the cost thereof which is spiraling out of control.
