The residents are reminded that there will be a rolling out of the COVID 19 vaccine booster service within the next few weeks. This service will take place on site at Caister Lodge and should you be unable to mobilise to the vaccine station, kindly advise on the lists on the notice board, and we will ensure that you will be attended to in your apartment. Please keep a look out for the notices on the board, and please fill in your full details on the lists supplied as this will enable the vaccine team to work as efficiently as possible. The vaccine team will be on site twice to accommodate for any resident or staff member who is not on site on vaccination day.

Residents are once again urged to be mindful of the peak hours in respect of electricity consumption as well as during load shedding as the high cost of diesel is placing a strain on these overhead costs.

Once again I would like to appeal to all residents to please return all crockery, cutlery and glassware belonging to the Caister, as this equipment is vital to provide the correct service to all residents and the high cost of replacing same will affect the running costs of the company.

The rainy season has provided us with an abundance of water and many dams in the area are at capacity. Even though the dams are at capacity please continue to use water sparingly and preserve this important resource and contain the cost thereof which is spiraling out of control. Please see below the current levels of the dams that feed the greater Durban area.
