What Residents & Families Say

My Caister is a community of Seniors – men and women, who are happy, busy and contented.

The accommodation is wonderful – from single studios to large unit with several rooms, some with magnificent views over the sea to colourful gardens. Some of us have brought plants from our homes to add to the display of orchids. From sunny to shaded outlooks, over a blue pool to thatched tables in the garden where we all gather for tea twice a day.

Our young handyman is courteous and experienced, from re-setting TV channels to repairing bigger problems – he never makes me feel silly, which happens often at our age. The residents have plenty of choice for entertainment – the inevitable Bingo – real money prizes – movies twice a week, yoga, music and really interesting residents to chat to. We have a bridge room and you will be encouraged to play, and if it is not bridge it could be Scrabble, Kuluki or even join the knitting club or join the stretch and tone class. Our shuttle takes us to different shopping centres and does a weekly visit to the beach.

Our Clinic is very invested in our health issues, with several Sisters available daily – wound care, injection, administering medication and general advice, with Assisted Living care for those who need that little bit extra help in their lives on a daily basis.

We feel safe, with ready assistance, in beautiful surroundings, and cared for by Caister.
