Stacey and Kereshnee of Edgar’s Musgrave Centre will be doing an Estee Lauder presentation in the lounge on Wednesday morning, the 2nd July, from 9:15 till 10:30.
July Fever is back, and the July Sweepstakes Draw will be held on the verandah at 10:00 am on Friday, the 4th July. Tickets are available from reception and remember: “You Have To Be In It To Win It.”
Judith Hawthorn will once again be entertaining the Caister residents with her performance of “Glorious Musicals” in the lounge on the 9th July from 6:00 pm.
John Fryer will be performing his music show “Nostalgia 100” in the lounge from 2:00 pm till 3:30 pm on Wednesday, the 16th July.
The third Quarterly Quiz for 2025 will be held in the lounge at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, the 23rd July. Please see the notice board for more details.
Doctor Marizel van Rensburg, a Homoeopathic Practitioner, will be available every second Wednesday of the month for Caister residents to make appointments with her. Dr van Rensburg can be contacted on 066 267 4333 or by email at dr.mvrensburg@gmail.com for an appointment.
In respect of the recycling program at Caister Lodge, residents are reminded to please place the correct recycling material in the correct bins as per the labels specifying which bins are for which items. The bin liner for all the glass products to be recycled is to be found near the generator.
Residents are reminded of the crockery and glassware that belongs to Caister which ends up in the individual apartments and not returned timeously, causing delays in the catering service department. If you have crockery or glassware belonging to Caister, please return same to the dining room at your earliest convenience.
The summer rains have provided ample water to the dams that feed the greater Durban area, but due to the high cost of this resource we need to continue to use water sparingly. Please see below the levels of the dams that feed the greater Durban area:
- Albert Falls Dam: 100.17%
- Midmar Dam: 98.48%
- Inanda Dam: 101.62%
- Hazelmere Dam: 101.77%
